about BROKEN ARROW…

Broken Arrow is comprised of the most sought after musicians from Nashville to Los Angeles. Each player has achieved great success in the music business, whether it’s in the studio, on the stage, or both, this band is filled with some of the best players in town! Broken Arrow is…Christian Simmons on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, “The Wonderful World of Ms. Jessica” sings sultry lead and beautiful harmony vocals, Jon Shelley “lays it down” on the drums, Seth Cohen “smokes” on lead guitar, and Brian Netzley “keeps the groove” on bass guitar and background vocals. This band stands apart not only due to their top-notch professionalism and unique sound, but they also offer lead vocals from both Christian and Jessica. This enables them the vocal diversity that most people desire in a live performance. Covering songs from Hank Williams Sr. to modern day pop-punk band Green Day, there is no better example of a more musically diverse band around! Christian in fact has no problem giving credit where credit is due. “Any and all of our success’, no matter how big or small are because of the high caliber musicians I have behind me”. “My dad always told me to surround myself with good people, the kind you can learn from and become better from just knowing and working with them, and that is an essential element of success! Most importantly, each player cares about the music, sound, and over-all performance, night in and night out. That’s so hard to come by these days, and that’s also what sets us apart”, says Christian. Christian and his band have one goal in mind; making the best possible music, and having a good time doing it!

Christian and his band have now established themselves as one of the most sought after country music acts on tour. With Christian’s hard charging stage presence, and driving sounds from Broken Arrow, their sound is unsurpassed! CSBA (Christian Simmons & Broken Arrow) not only perform at all the regular honky-tonks, but their diverse sound makes them a favorite at all-genre clubs as well. Their ability to add excitement to every performance makes them extremely popular among music fans and talent buyers all over the country. CSBA have shared the stage with such marquee artists as Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery/Gentry, Reba, Rodney Atkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Keith Urban, George Jones, Toby Keith, Deirks Bentley, Brad Paisely, Carrie Underwood, and Gary Allan just to name a few.

2007 was a terrific year for the band. Performing over 200 shows, releasing their second CD “Welcome To Nashville West”, and garnering industry attention by being honored with numerous awards from the California Country Music Association (CCMA). Along with Christian’s Male Entertainer of the Year honors, the band was named top Vocal Group and Band of the Year. Jessica was also acknowledged for leading the pack in the female categories, being named Top Female Entertainer and Top Female Vocalist. As if that weren’t enough, several more individual awards were given to the players for their outstanding talent on their respected instruments! Walking away with a total of eight awards. The band was also named “2005 California Country Band of the Year” from Nightclub West, a California entertainment magazine polling country music fans all over Southern California. Over the past 3 years Christian and Broken Arrow have received over twenty-two awards for their outstanding status and achievements in bringing originality, professionalism and excitement back to the Southern California’s country music scene. They take their success in full stride, even though winning a “popularity contest” doesn’t mean everything, it does however prove that all of these country music fans can’t be wrong! Christian and his band will continue to press on and play their style of “West Coast Country” to bigger and bigger audiences. With no sign of slowing down, keep a look out for one of the “new faces of country music”, and this “red hot band” in a town near you.

Hear the sounds and catch the fever, this band is on the verge!
